Data Controller
For personal information processed through PLIVA.ME, the data controller is Piero Liva, operating under the PLIVA identity. Privacy enquiries and requests may be directed to office@pliva.me.
PLIVA respects the privacy of individuals who communicate with us and seeks to handle personal information responsibly, proportionately and with appropriate discretion. This Privacy Notice explains the general handling of personal information submitted through PLIVA.ME.
INFORMATION YOU PROVIDE
When using the website enquiry form, PLIVA may receive information including your name, organisation, email address, country, nature of enquiry, message content and any other information voluntarily included in the communication. Visitors should provide only information reasonably necessary for the purpose of the enquiry.
WHY INFORMATION IS PROCESSED
Information submitted through PLIVA.ME may be used to respond to enquiries; understand the nature of a proposed opportunity or relationship; communicate with the person or organisation making the enquiry; evaluate whether further discussions may be appropriate; maintain necessary business correspondence; protect the security and integrity of the website; and comply with applicable legal obligations.
Personal information should not be used for unrelated purposes without an appropriate basis.
CONTACT FORM
Information submitted through the PLIVA.ME enquiry form is transmitted to the PLIVA Private Office at office@pliva.me. The website currently uses the information supplied through the form for the purpose of receiving, evaluating and responding to the enquiry. Submitting the form does not automatically subscribe the sender to marketing communications.
LEGAL BASIS
Where European data-protection law applies, processing may take place as appropriate on the basis of steps requested before entering into a potential business relationship, PLIVA's legitimate interests in receiving and managing professional enquiries, compliance with legal obligations, or consent where consent is specifically requested. The applicable basis will depend upon the nature and context of the processing.
DATA MINIMISATION
PLIVA seeks to collect only information reasonably relevant to the purpose for which it is provided. Visitors are specifically requested not to send passports, identification documents, financial records, confidential agreements or other highly sensitive documentation through the initial public contact form unless requested through an appropriate channel.
RETENTION
Personal information should be retained only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purpose for which it was collected, legitimate business-record requirements, the establishment or defence of legal claims, or applicable legal obligations. Different retention periods may apply depending upon the nature of the relationship and information concerned.
DISCLOSURE
PLIVA does not sell personal information. Information may be disclosed where reasonably necessary to service providers supporting website or communications infrastructure, professional advisers where appropriate, authorities where legally required, or other parties where disclosure has been authorised or is otherwise lawfully permitted. Any disclosure should be limited to what is reasonably necessary for the relevant purpose.
INTERNATIONAL COMMUNICATION
Because PLIVA operates with an international outlook, communications may involve parties or service providers located in different jurisdictions. Where personal information is transferred internationally, appropriate safeguards should be used where required by applicable data-protection law.
SECURITY
Reasonable technical and organisational measures should be used to protect personal information against unauthorised access, alteration, disclosure or loss. No internet transmission or electronic storage system can, however, be guaranteed to be completely secure.
PRIVATE OFFICE DATA
When the Private Office is introduced, this Privacy Notice will be expanded to cover authenticated accounts, access records, project permissions, document activity and security logging. Those systems are not represented as operational until they are actually implemented.
COOKIES & ANALYTICS
PLIVA.ME may use cookies or similar technologies that are technically necessary for website operation and security. If optional analytics, marketing or other non-essential tracking technologies are introduced, this notice and the website's consent mechanism will be updated as required.
YOUR RIGHTS
Depending upon applicable law and circumstances, individuals may have rights concerning their personal information, including rights to request access, correction, deletion, restriction or objection to certain processing, and in some circumstances data portability or withdrawal of consent.
Requests concerning personal information can be submitted to office@pliva.me. Identity verification may be requested where reasonably necessary before acting on a request. Individuals may also have the right to lodge a complaint with the competent data-protection authority.
CHANGES TO THIS NOTICE
This Privacy Notice may be updated periodically to reflect changes in PLIVA's activities, website functionality, technology or applicable legal requirements. The current version will be published on PLIVA.ME.
